A. QUALIFICATION: MBBS, Post-graduate Degree in concerned subject from MCI recognized University.
B. EXPERIENCE:
Professor
Recognized Post graduate degree in the subject with four years teaching / research experience as
Associate Professor / Reader in recognized Medical College.
OR
a) Recognised Post graduate degree in the concerned subject
b) Three years teaching / research experience as Asso. Professor / Reader in recognized Medical College.
c) Minimum of four research publications indexed in index Medicus / National Journals. Provided that these research publications are published / accepted for publication in the journals by The National Associations / Societies of the respective specialties as the First Author. Further provided that the requirement of 4 research publications for promotion to the post of Professor should be taken on cumulative basis with minimum of 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor
Associate Professor
Recognized Post graduate degree in the subject with five years teaching / research experience as Lecturer / Assistant Professor in recognized Medical College.
OR
a) Recognized Post graduate degree in the concerned subject.
b) Four years teaching experience as a Lecturer/Asst. Prof. in recognized Medical College.
c) Minimum of two research publications indexed in index Medicus / National Journals. Provided that these research publications are published / accepted for publication in the journals by the National Associations / Societies of the respective specialties as the First Author. Further provided that the requirement of 2 research publications for promotion to the post of AssociateProfessor should be fulfilled with 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor
Asstt. Professor
a) Recognized Post graduate degree in the concerned subject.
b) Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Medical College as Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator / Tutor
Tutor
M.B.B.S. or M.Sc in particular subject as specified by M.C.I.
Candidate possessing post graduate qualification in subject will be preferred
C. PAY SCALE: As per Government of Maharashtra Rules
D. General Notes:
1. Reservation for ladies and physically handicapped persons is as per the Govt. rules.
2. Candidates applying for reserve category post(s) should submit caste certificate & caste validity certificate and also recent non creamy layer certificate, wherever applicable.
3. The benefit of reservation shall be admissible to the backward class/category candidates who are domiciled in the State of Maharashtra only.
4. Age limit & educational Qualifications shall be considered up to last date of the application & experience will be considered up to the date one day prior to interview.
5. The decision taken by MUHS authorities regarding essential qualifications and experience shall be applicable, from time to time.
E. Conditions
1. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.
2. Selected Candidates will be required to sign the agreement embodying the condition of their service including the condition to serve for the period of one year or to pay a bond penalty of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rs. One lac only).
3. Selected Candidates will be debarred from doing any private practice but will be paid NPA.

5. Those who are working in Govt/Semi Govt. /Autonomous Institutions should bring N.O.C. from appropriate authorities.
