Applications along with complete bio-data with necessary academic experience certificates/testimonials and names of two references are invited for the under mentioned posts which must reach the office of the Dean, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram. Dist. Wardha (Maharashtra) latest by 9January, 2010.

In case no candidate from the reserved category is available, candidate from open category may be considered for temporary appointment for one year only.

1.Qualifications: MBBS, Post-graduate Degree in concerned subject from MCI recognized college.

2.Experience:
Professor -Minimum three years experience in the concerned subject as Associate Professor /Reader in a MCI recognized Medical College.
Desirable -Minimum of four Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus/National Journal and one research publication in International Journal.

Associate Professor/ Reader -Minimum four years experience in the concerned subject as Lecture/ Assistant Professor in a MCI recognized Medical College. Desirable -Minimum of two Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus/National Journal and one research publication in International Journal.

Asstt. Professor/ Lecturer -Three years teaching experience in the concerned subject in a MCI recognized Medical College as Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator

3. PAY SCALE -As per Government of Maharashtra Rules

Note:

1. Women and Physically handicapped reservation is as per rules.
2. Candidates holding essential qualification on closing date of application will be eligible to apply and experience will be considered up to the date one day prior to interview.
3. Candidates applying for reservation category must submit Caste Certificate, Caste Verification Certificate and Non Creamy Layer Certificate, as applicable.
4. Reserve category candidates who are not ordinarily residing in Maharashtra will be treated as Open category.

6. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.
7. Selected Candidates will be required to sign the agreement embodying the condition of their service including the condition to serve for a period of one year or to pay a bond penalty of Rs.1,00,000/-(Rs. One lac only).
8. Selected Candidates will be debarred from doing any private practice but will be paid Non Practicing allowance.
9. The candidates must attach following Xerox copies of the documents with the application:
   1. Certificate relating to proof of date of birth.
   2. Undergraduate Degree Certificate & Postgraduate Degree Certificate.
   3. State Medical Council Registration Certificate.
   4. Experience certificates for the period mentioned in the application duly signed by Dean/Principal of concerned college (if worked in more than one college, then experience certificate of each college)
   5. Caste Certificate/Caste validity certificate if applicable.
   6. Approval of previous University if any in case of Associate Professor and Professor.
   7. MCI Recognition for UG & PG Degree.
   8. Those who are working in Govt/Semi Govt./Autonomous Institutions will have to bring N.O.C from appropriate authorities.
