Dr. Manish Purohit received third prize at Maharashtra Chapter Conference of IAMM, KMC, Karad on 24-26 Sep.2010 for his paper “Prevalence of Metallobetalactamases in clinical isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii from a tertiary care rural hospital in Central India.
Dr Manoj Talapalliwar received Dr MV Kulkarni best research paper award on “Maternal and Child Health” for his research paper titled “Prevalence of morbidity among the tribal children from Melghat, Maharashtra” at Joint Annual Conference of IPHA and IAPSM Maharashtra chapter held on 11-12 Feb 2011 at MGIMS, Sevagram.
Dr Ranjeeta Sougaijam received second prize for her paper at MAPCON 2010.
Deepika Bele and Pawan Kandhari won the UG Pathology Quiz organized by the Vidarbha Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists and the Sharda Srinivasan Trophy in September 2010.
Amit Kaushal and Neeta Dandekar received third prize at Vidarbha Level ENT quiz organized at Nagpur in December 2010.
Dr Aditi Dongre stood first in SAARC International Radiology Quiz held at Nagpur on 8 Aug 2010.
Dr Revathi Krishnamurthy, Dr Anjali Singh and Ms Aanchal Bhayana were runners-up in State level Dr Diwekar Memorial Radiology Quiz Contest held at GMC, Nagpur on 15 Sep 2010.
Ms Keerthi Kundana and Mr Apul Gonde of 2008 batch won first place at Vidarbha Level Microbiology Quiz held on 25 Aug 2010 at GMC, Nagpur
Ms Keerthi Kundana and Mr. Apul Gonde were runners up at the Maharashtra State Level UG – Quiz in Microbiology held on 28 Aug 2010 at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad.
Pooja Jadhao won the second prize in the ICMR sponsored UG Regional Research Conference held at MGIMS Sevagram for her paper titled “The use of modified WHO partograph to study progress of labor”.
Minal Ambade won the second prize in the ICMR sponsored UG Regional Research Conference held at MGIMS Sevagram for her paper titled “Delayed axillary nerve motor conduction latency and reduced CMAP amplitudes in the paretic limbs of patients with a cerebrovascular episode.”
