Ajay Lanjewar

Dr. Ajay V Lanjewar joined MGIMS in September 2015. He graduated from GMC Nagpur in 1991 and obtained Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest diseases from BJMC, Pune in 1994. He was fortunate to be trained under Dr. BJ Amin, Dr. Madhav Kale, and Dr. Sandeep Salvi. Later he joined the Department of Chest Medicine in Seth GS Medical College and KEM hospital, Mumbai for a year. His Guide was Dr. Ashok Mahashur for DNB. He joined his alma mater in December 1997 and continued until December 2000. He was selected by MPSC board and was ranked second in Maharashtra. Subsequently, he set up his practice in Nagpur and was a consultant in Orange City Hospital, Nagpur. He has worked in many medical colleges and hospitals. His area of interest is bronchoscopy and interventional procedures. He has a passion for teaching and wishes to start the postgraduate programme in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases at MGIMS.
