PN Murkey

Dr PN Murkey, MD, LLB, did his post-graduation (M.D) in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology from Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Charitable Hospital Mumbai, Mumbai University in 2000 and joined MGIMS a year later.  An approved undergraduate and postgraduate teacher from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, he is also an examiner for UG and PG examinations in several universities.

An author of two books that deal with MCQs in Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal Aspects of Care and Cure, he has published about 40 research papers in international and national journals. He has attended and presented more than 25 papers in various regional, national and international conferences. He is member of Maharashtra Medico-legal Association, Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine, Indian Medical Association (MS), and Red Cross Society (MS); he is member of committee for sexual harassment against women employee at KHS, Sevagram. He is on editorial board of Indian Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology, AIIMS, New Delhi, Journal of South Indian Medico-legal Association (SIMLA), and Sevamed, MGIMS.
