Sucheta Tidke

Dr Sucheta Tidke is alumnus of Government Medical College, Nagpur. She obtained her post graduation in Anaesthesiology from Indira Gandhi Medical College Nagpur (1996) Subsequently, she worked in Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital, Parel, Mumbai for 3 years. She joined the department of Anaesthesiology, MGIMS in 1996 and rose to become professor in 2003. She has been heading the department since 2014.

Dr Sucheta has guided research projects of 15 postgraduate students in Nagpur University and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. She has also been examiner, universities paper setter, evaluator and has served as the central observer of the university.

Dr Sucheta has published 15 research papers. She has attended and has presented papers in regional and national conferences and workshops. Organizing co-chairman of two CMEs, she has also chaired sessions in various conferences and was a resource faculty for several workshops and CMEs.

Dr Sucheta has served as the member of Emergency Obstetrics Care (EmOC) LSAS project.She leads the committee of prohibition of sexual harassment of women at work place at MGIMS. She is also a member of ISA, ISCCM. Ex-secretary of Wardha-Sevagram city branch of ISA, she is currently the vice president, ISA Wardha.
