Ammara and Vinita Tripathy (both 2012 batch) scored a 2nd position at the 29th IAP UG Pediatrics quiz divisional round held at GMC, Nagpur on 8th September 2016
Stuti Chowdhary Rasika Zade (both 2012 batch), and Shyam Meda (2011 batch) were Runners-up in the All Maharashtra Surgical Quiz organized by the Association of Surgeons of India, Nagpur Branch on 27 August 2016.
Pradeep Kumar Sanga and Siva Karthikeyan (both 2014 batch) was runners-up in the Vidarbha level Intercollegiate Undergraduate Pathology Quiz Competition organized by the Vidarbha Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists on 26 August 2016. The team thanks its mentors: Dr Manisha Atram, Dr Abhay Deshmukh and Dr Shubhangi Mangam (all faculty in the Pathology department) for their exemplary efforts.
The MGIMS 2013 batch students—Mr. Prathmesh, Ms. Shrishti and Ms. Anju—won the first prize at the Annual ENT Vidarbha quiz contest, conducted at IMA hall, Nagpur on 21 August 2016. The students thanked Dr Nagpure, Dr Puttewar, Dr Deepika, Dr Sushil and the postgraduates of ENT department and their batchmates for the support.
