Training Course on “Molecular techniques applied for infectious disease research”

A hands on short-term training course for Medical teachers, Clinical Lab Practitioners and Research & Post Graduate students on “Immunological & molecular techniques applied for infectious disease research” will be held during February 13-18, 2017 at Department of Biochemistry & JB Tropical Disease Research Centre. The different techniques that will be covered include molecular (cloning and expression and recombinant proteins; real time PCR), analytical (SDS-PAGE; 2D-Electrophoresis; Western blotting), immunological (immuno assays, assays for immunomodulation, cellular and cytokine responses) and in vitro parasite cultures and anti-parasite drug screening assays.
