Mr Pradyut Malik (Batch 2016) of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram brought laurels to the institute and city by excelling in the State Level Inter Zone Chess Tournament. The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik had organized the competition at Ayurveda College Sheavgaon. Mr Malik will participate at the All India Inter University Tournament at Jagran Lakecity University Bhopal from 27th - 31st October 2017. Mr Girish Bhoware (Director, Physical Education MGIMS) informed that Mr Malik is working hard to outperform in the coming competition.
Mr Malik attributed the success to the management and staff of the institute for their continuous support, guidance and encouragement. On behalf of the institute, Dr M Jain (Officer In-charge, Games and Sports) wished Mr Malik all the best for the coming contest and quoted "When you see a good move, look for a better one".
