Dr Shuchi Jain graduated from Baroda Medical College, Maharaja Sayaji Rao University and subsequently worked as a senior resident in Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi. After obtaining MD, she joined as a lecturer in MGIMS in 2003. Selected recently for Pravin Mehta fellowship in advanced endoscopy at Akola Endoscopy Centre under Dr Rajesh Modi, she has previously been trained in basic infertility and advanced laparoscopy at Mayflower Institute Ahmedabad.

Dr Shuchi Jain is one of the master trainers for Emergency Obstetric Care (EmOC) project of Government of India and member of Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illness (IMNCI), EMNOC and Pre-conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT). She is also a member of Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists, Indian Clinical Epidemiology Network (INDIACLEN), IMA, SWOGS. She has undergone training in advanced research methodology at St. John Medical College, Bangalore. She has also undergone training in Reproductive Biomedicine at National Institute of Health and Family and Welfare (NIHFW), Delhi.

Dr Shuchi Jain has published 12 papers in national and international journals. She is co-editor of book on Family Medicine. She has received 2nd prize for best paper at ICOG CME Baroda, Yuva FOGSI, Nagpur. She is a PG and UG Examiner and is on the panel of examiners in MUHS, Aligarh Muslim University, Gujarat University and Bhopal University. She has received certificate of recognition from FOGSI, GOI for her contribution to EmOC training programme. She is member of National team of Quality Assurance of EmOC project. She has special interest in infertility, laparoscopy, oncology, high risk Obstetrics and research methodology.
