Deepika Garg

Professor

Dr Deepika Garg (a 1999 batch MGIMS alumnus) did her MS in Otorhinolaryngology and Head Neck Surgery (ENT- HNS) from MGIMS (2007-2010). During her residency, she assessed the role of bronchoscopy in chronic lung disorders, a research question that she addressed for her thesis.

Soon after obtaining MS, she joined her alma mater as an assistant professor in the department of ENT- HNS. Keenly interested in head and neck surgical oncology she has so far published eight scientific papers in various journals and has also attended national and international conferences and workshops.

Dr Deepika is a core member of the group that compiles the MGIMS annual report, and also helps the institute assign students to the rural health centers for the rural placement scheme for MGIMS graduates. She is currently member of E- Learning group.
