Pramod Jain

Dr Pramod Jain is an MGIMS alumnus- he belongs to the batch of 1990. He graduated in 1995 and obtained MS (Orthopedics) in 2000. During his post-graduation, he was mentored by the department head, Dr KR Patond. He worked with Dr David Rajang, Coimbatore to acquire skills in arthroscopy and received training in joint arthroplasty from Dr AV Guruva Reddy, Hyderabad. His areas of interest are hip and knee replacement and spine surgeries.In addition, he is also interested in correcting the deformities of victims of polio and cerebral palsy. A life member of Indian Association of Orthopedics, World Orthopedics Concern and Indian Medical Association, Dr Jain is also a university-recognized post-graduate teacher and university examiner. A co-author of Textbook of Family Medicine, he has published several articles in national and international journals and has presented his work in state level and national conferences.
