PS Nagpure

Dr PS Nagpure is an MGIMS alumnus: he graduated (1984) and obtained MS (1988) (Otolaryngology) from MGIMS. After obtaining MS, he worked as an assistant professor, associate professor and professor at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Sawangi, Wardha and then moved to MGIMS as professor and head of department of Otolaryngology, a post he has held since seven years. A recognized post-graduate teacher by MUHS, Nashik, he has guided several postgraduate students of Nagpur and Nashik University. He has been external examiner for undergraduates and  postgraduates in various universities, countrywide. He presented many papers in state and national CMEs and conferences. He also published several papers in indexed national and international journals. He is on editorial advisory board of Journal of MGIMS. He has been organizing chairman, guest speaker and chairperson in various regional and state CMEs and conferences. His area of interest is micro-ear, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), and reconstructive head and neck surgeries.
