The team MGIMS lead by Dr Ruchi Kothari, Associate Professor and In-charge, Sports Physiology Lab. bagged three out of six prizes in ATPCON 2018 - a National Conference in Physiology, held from 14th to 16th September, 2018 at ESIC Medical College Hyderabad. Dr Kothari was awarded the second prize in the Best Oral Research presentation among the faculty category. She was accompanied by two of the second MBBS students of MGIMS, Mr Suryadev Vrindavanam (2017 Batch) and Mr Vineet Buradkar (2017 Batch) who have respectively secured the second and third prize in the unger-graduate category of Oral presentation for their research work in Sports Physiology. She has been their guide and mentored them for this conference. The presented research work was conducted in the newly established Sports Physiology lab of the institute.
