National Symposium on Genetics and Genomics (Updated)

Centre for Genetics and Genomics, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram, is organizing a National symposium on genetics and genomics on 7th and 8th December 2018. We request you to block these dates for this upcoming symposium.

With the changing context and time scale, we are sure that everyone amongst us would be passionate to update his/her knowledge on the subject. Nowadays in Medical science Genetics has become an integral part of all subjects whether clinical, para-clinical or pre-clinical. Its application in patient care is almost becoming unavoidable. However, the speciality is still restricted to limited centres and we fall short of opportunity to get exposed to real time working labs and eminent peoples involved in the field. We are happy and proud to share with you that since last 25 years we are running our cytogenetic lab  successfully. Recently we have also developed the molecular genetics lab.

Keeping in mind the need of the hour, we have planned this national symposium on genetics and genomics. Eminent National and International speakers have given their consent for varied and relevant topics and we would not like you to miss this opportunity.

There  will be a session on poster presentation and therefore those desirous of presenting posters may send their abstracts for presentation latest by 20th November 2018. The size of the poster should be  4 Ft (Vertical) X 3 Ft (Horizontal).
