 Walk in Interview for the following post:

1) Medical Physicist cum RSO (SC-1):

Qualification & Experience: The candidate must have M.Sc. in Medical Physics OR MSc in Physics with Diploma in Radiological/Medical physics from BARC or from AERB recognized university/institution with minimum 12 months of internship in a recognized radiation therapy department. Person with 2 years’ experience in the Radiotherapy Department in a Medical College, will be preferred. He/ She should also have a Radiological Safety Officer (RSO) certificate.

2) Data Base Administrator (Open-1):

Qualification & Experience: Must be a B.E. (Information Technology or Computer Sciences) along with an oracle certified associate (OCA from ORACLE). Must have at least 5-8 years PostgreSQL Administration and experience of migrating Oracle DB objects ( Tables, Constraints,Indexes ) to  production data/go live data, Hands-on experience of Cloud Environments, Experience with backups, restores and recovery models. Should have an excellent written and verbal communication. 

Job Description:

 The DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical Postgre SQL systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of desired applications. Troubleshooting DB issues, optimizing stored procedures and queries will be in the purview of the role. This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage PostgreSQL databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
  • Apply data modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations.
  • Create database in PostGreSQL, ,Fine tune databases, tables, Queries in PostGreSQL, Oracle to PostGreSQL migration.
  • Migrate Oracle DB objects ( Tables, Constraints,Indexes ) to PostGreSQL ( Using Ora2PG tool or any tool and then fix any issues manually )
  • Independently analyses, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
  • Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
  • Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
  • Suggest the improvement in existing system for meeting the needs of enhanced activities as well as achieving higher efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Should have B.E. (Information Technology or Computer Sciences) qualification along with an oracle certified associate (OCA from ORACLE)
  • 5-8 years PostgreSQL Administration 
  • Experience of migrating Oracle DB objects ( Tables, Constraints,Indexes ) to production data/go live data
  • Hands-on experience of Cloud Environments.
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
  • Ability to organize and plan work independently
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

3) Laboratory Technician (open-1):

Qualification & Experience: B.Sc. with DMLT from Govt. recognized Institute approved by State Technical Board / University with at least two years’ experience in a FDA approved Blood Bank. Candidate should also be FDA approved. Preference will be given to those who have experience as Technical Supervisor in Blood Bank.

**Eligible candidates are invited for a walk in Interview alongwith application and supporting documents i.e. academic and experience certificates on 02/02/2024 at 10.00 AM in the Committee Room of the Administrative Complex of MGIMS, Sevagram.

Salary:  As admissible under the rules of Kasturba Health Society.

Age: Between 18-38 years for open category/ between 18-43 years for reserved category.

Note:

1) Society reserves the right related to selection or appointment and hence no right, claim should be assumed to have vested with the applicant in his respect.

2) Age and experience can be relaxed for exceptional and deserving candidate. Decision of Selection Committee will be final.

3) No TA and DA will be paid by Kasturba Health Society for attending the interview.
